Yale School of Management Welcomes New Faculty Members

Nine new faculty in marketing, economics, organizational behavior, finance, and operations management will join Yale SOM on July 1.

The Yale School of Management has announced new appointments and faculty promotions effective July 1. 

New faculty members will be joining the school across five different groups.

Tong Wang, an assistant professor of business analytics at the Tippie College of Business, University of Iowa, will join the faculty as an assistant professor of marketing.

David Argente, Strumpf Early Career Assistant Professor of Economics at Pennsylvania State University, will become an assistant professor of economics; Jaime Arellano-Bover, an assistant professor in the department of economics and finance at Tor Vergata, University of Rome, will hold a joint appointment as lecturer of economics at SOM and in the Department of Economics.

Adriana Germano, who earned a PhD from the University of Washington and was a postdoctoral research scholar at Columbia Business School, joins the faculty as an assistant professor of organizational behavior. David M. Munguia Gomez, who earned a PhD from the Booth School of Business, University of Chicago, will also join the organizational behavior group as an assistant professor.

Menaka V. Hampole, who earned a PhD from the Kellogg School of Management, Northwestern University, will join SOM as an assistant professor of finance, and Theis Ingerslev Jensen, who earned a PhD from Copenhagen Business School, will also join the faculty as an assistant professor of finance.

Zhen Lian, a postdoctoral fellow at Lyft, Inc., who earned a PhD from the Samuel Curtis Johnson Graduate School of Management at Cornell University, will join SOM as an assistant professor of operations management, as will Faidra Monachou, a postdoctoral fellow at Harvard University who earned a PhD from Stanford University.
