Spaces in Evans Hall
The use of Edward P. Evans Hall is intended for the Yale School of Management community. We serve as an academic facility and the building is comprised of 16 classrooms, an auditorium, two function spaces and a courtyard.
At this time, Evans Hall is primarily available for the School of Management community. Other Yale affiliated groups looking to rent space should please submit the request form located here and a member of the SOM events team will be in touch. At this time, Evans Hall is not available for non-Yale rentals.

Yale SOM Catering offers modern spaces, professional service staff, and innovative menus for the SOM community. Operating exclusively within Evans Hall, their Executive Chef team works closely with each client. Menus include breakfasts, breaks and both hot and cold lunches. Yale SOM Catering is dedicated to excellence in food quality, presentation, and service, while echoing Yale SOM’s commitment to sustainability. Groups looking to work with SOM Catering should connect with their Events team representative to learn more.

Media Services
Yale SOM students and faculty benefit from a number of cutting-edge technology features within the classroom designed to enhance teaching and learning. Among the building’s most distinctive technological features: high-definition conferencing, wireless screen sharing, custom lecterns, and a centrally managed Media Control Center.
All classrooms contain audio / visual equipment for making presentations and teaching purposes.

- Presentation, audio and video equipment (microphones, projector and screen etc.) are available and tailored to the event. We also offer live-streaming as a service to stream your event over the internet pending approval.
Video Conferencing
- Media services can route a video conference call to any classroom in Evans Hall, in addition to Beinecke Terrace Room and Zhang Auditorium.
