Margaret Milardo-Ward: Embedded Counselor at Yale SOM
Margaret Milardo-Ward joined Yale Health in 2023 as the Embedded Counselor at the Yale School of Management. Margaret received her bachelor’s in psychology from Assumption College and master’s in social work from the University of Texas at Austin. After graduating, Margaret worked in crisis intervention and prevention for 9 years and assisted in the implementation of a designated crisis hotline in Austin, TX. Margaret has also worked in private practice for 7 years and provided community mental health education throughout her career.
Margaret’s specializations include trauma, eating disorders, suicidality and non-suicidal self-injury, chronic severe mental health and the interaction between life transitions and one’s mental health. Margaret is excited to continue her practice at Yale and within the SOM population utilizing a combination of Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Acceptance and Commitment Therapy and Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing Therapy.
Rebecca Udler: Assistant Dean, Academic Affairs and Student Life & Deputy Title IX Coordinator at Yale SOM
Rebecca Udler is the Deputy Title IX Coordinator for Yale School of Management. Deputy Title IX Coordinators are available to consult with members of the community about concerns or questions related to sex- or gender-based discrimination, including sexual misconduct.

Dr. Ebonie Jackson: Assistant Dean of Inclusion and Diversity & Discrimination and Harassment Coordinator at Yale SOM
Dr. Ebonie Jackson serves as Assistant Dean of the office of Inclusion and Diversity and as the Discrimination and Harassment Resource Coordinator (DHRC) for SOM. She is an executive leader with over two decades of professional experience. Her career has spanned the industries of corporate banking, entrepreneurship & small business ownership, and higher education.
Within higher education, she specializes in student success, advocacy, gender justice, diversity, equity & inclusion, and enrollment management. In her previous and current roles she supports and empowers students, staff, and faculty by promoting education and awareness of women’s leadership and mentoring, gender equity, healthy relationships, domestic/ intimate partner, and sexual violence, LGBTQIA+ activism, anti-racism, antisemitism, social justice, and allyship.
Ebonie completed her Doctorate of Education in Executive Leadership where her dissertation explored urban liberal arts graduate employability. She possesses a Master’s in Business Administration (MBA) from Columbia University and a Bachelor of Arts (BA) in Government and Foreign Affairs from the University of Virginia.
Anita Sharif-Hyder: Dean of Students and Assistant Dean, Academic Affairs and Student Life
Anita Sharif Hyder serves as the Dean of Students for the Yale School of Management. Before joining SOM, she was the Senior Associate Director of the University-Wide Committee on Sexual Misconduct in the Office of the Provost for 10 years.
As dean, she is responsible for cultivating Yale SOM’s mission-oriented culture across the academic and extracurricular student experience and works collaboratively with other SOM departments to ensure comprehensive and integrated delivery to enhance the school’s culture. Her office provides resources and support for academic counseling and performance monitoring, joint degree programs, teaching support and tutoring, mental health counseling, oversight of student-life activities, and the Global Study Requirement.
Anita is a restorative justice facilitator and mediator and has expertise in cross-cultural counseling.
