Visiting Yale SOM

New Haven is less than two hours by train or car from New York City and the New York-area airports. Both Amtrak and Metro-North trains stop in New Haven’s Union Station. It is also convenient to Bradley International Airport near Hartford, Connecticut, and to Tweed New Haven Airport.

Dining at Evans Hall

Edward P. Evans Hall features two unique dining venues, McNay Café and Charley’s Place are open to the Yale University community as well as the public.

New Haven is a compact, livable city of 130,000. The central Yale campus is interspersed with the historic buildings and tree-lined streets of the downtown area; nearby residential neighborhoods are dotted with shops and restaurants.

Evans Hall Building Hours

Evans Hall is open from 7:30 a.m. to 5:00 p.m., Monday through Friday, holidays excepted. There is a Yale security presence 24 hours, including weekends and holidays. The Yale SOM community can use their Yale ID card to gain access to the building outside of posted hours.
