Yale SOM’s Master’s in Technology Management is only open to Yale College engineering students and other Yale College students with sufficient preparation for advanced engineering courses who anticipate graduating in 2024 or have graduated in the previous three years.
The application is currently closed, and the inaugural class will begin the program with a required internship in the summer of 2024, followed by a year of academic study commencing in the fall of 2024.

Application Requirements
Academic Record
Transcripts from all undergraduate, graduate, study abroad, and non-degree program where credit was awarded are required. Unofficial paper transcripts can be uploaded during the application process. If admitted, you will be required to submit official transcripts to enroll; offers of admission are conditional on the receipt and verification of official transcripts. Non-English transcripts should be translated into English. If your institution does not provide an English translation, please obtain a notarized English translation.
Standardized Test score (optional)
We accept both the GMAT and the GRE. A standardized test score is optional.
Have your score report sent directly to the Yale School of Management MMS-TM program. You can request GMAT score reports through www.mba.com (use code 3TJ-BX-30). You can request GRE scores through www.ets.org (code 1168).
Letters of Recommendation
List two individuals who will provide a recommendations for you. One should come from an academic source from Yale University and one should come from a professional source. Please note the letter of recommendation must be submitted directly to us from your recommender's professional email address. We do not accept personal email addresses such as gmail, yahoo, qq, etc.
Résumé
We recommend submitting a current résumé that is only one page in length. This résumé should reflect your academic and professional background and achievements, as well as activities and interests, you should highlight any leadership and team roles you have undertaken.
Essays
There are three required essays (300 words or less), each with a prompt that will maximize your opportunity to share more about your connection with technology, your professional and personal goals, and how this relates to the MMS-TM program.
