Prof. K. Sudhir Honored by Global Organization for Persons of Indian Origin

Sudhir was one of several scholars, businesspeople, and other leaders who were honored by the Connecticut chapter of the GOPIO at its annual awards banquet on June 9. 

Professor K. Sudhir was recently honored as one of the “outstanding achievers of the Indian American community in Connecticut.”

Sudhir was one of several scholars, businesspeople, and other leaders who were honored by the Connecticut chapter of the Global Organization for Persons of Indian Origin (GOPIO) at its annual awards banquet on June 9. 

A member of the Yale SOM faculty since 2001, Sudhir is the James L. Frank ’32 Professor of Private Enterprise and Management, professor of marketing, and director of the China India Insights Program.

The awards honor those “who have made an impact in our society and/or those who provide outstanding service,” said Anita Bhat, the president of GOPIO-CT.
