What’s happening?
Classes
Classes started at Yale SOM on August 31 in a hybrid model – half the students attend classes in-person while the other half join virtually, swapping places later in the week.
As a result, Yale SOM has adjusted class times, and the Yale SOM Career Development Office accordingly has adjusted times for recruiting engagements.
Student Clubs
There are over 50 student clubs and groups at Yale SOM, representing a variety of professional, affinity, geography, social and special interests. Resume books for many clubs became available in 12Twenty September 21.
Club sponsorship is available for all clubs - this is a great way to showcase support for students AND to have your organization’s recruiting brand extend throughout the year. Click here for more details.
Resume Books
Available now in 12Twenty! Resume books for each degree and class year are available. For immediate hiring needs, the resume book of students who graduated in May, 2020 is available.
Student club resume books also are available in 12Twenty.
Note that resume books are fluid, as students can add, edit, and remove resumes throughout the year. Best practice is to use the most up-to-date resume book by accessing 12Twenty.
Virtual Resources
The Yale SOM CDO now offers recruiter access to Airmeet, a web-based platform that mimics in-person networking events and provides options for spontaneous, personal, one-on-one or small group interactions, as well as live webinar sessions. Features include event-wide chat, Q&A, and direct messaging.

The Yale SOM CDO also is happy to provide access to Zoom for recruiting events, although it is recommended that employers use their own Zoom accounts whenever possible.
All other platforms are welcome, although Yale SOM will not be able to provide any use or technical assistance.
What’s new?
Registration and event details can be found in 12Twenty, the Yale SOM career management system. While there is unlimited registration for networking events, registration will be capped for EngageSOM events to retain the full value of the event for recruiters and students alike.

Open to employers in all industries recruiting for immediate hire or full-time or summer internships starting after May 2021 graduation.

EngageSOM events
