Three scholars across different disciplinary groups joined the Yale SOM faculty on July 1.

Nima Haghpanah, previously an associate professor of economics at Penn State University, joined the faculty as a professor of economics. Haghpanah earned a PhD in computer science from Northwestern University.

Minjae Kim, formerly an assistant professor of management at Rice University’s Jones Graduate School of Business, joined the faculty as an assistant professor of organizational behavior. Kim earned a PhD in management with a focus in economic sociology from the MIT Sloan School of Management.

Jamie Tucker-Foltz, who earned a PhD in computer science from Harvard University, joined the faculty as an assistant professor of operations.

In addition, earlier this year, John Barrios joined the faculty as an associate professor of accounting. Barrios was previously an assistant professor of accounting at the Olin School of Business at Washington University Saint Louis and at the Chicago University Booth School of Business.

The school also promoted Kyle Jensen to professor in the practice of entrepreneurship; Anya Nakhmurina to associate professor of accounting; and Kevin R. Williams to professor of economics.
