Photos: Visiting the SOM Lab

The behavioral lab carries out research for faculty and students, with help from the students and staff who participate in studies.

SOM Lab is an interdepartmental behavioral lab at Edward P. Evans Hall that carries out experiments for studies by marketing and organizational behavior faculty and students. Having a lab on campus also means that students and staff can participate in studies and earn some extra money for coffee while contributing to research.

When we visited recently, Yale College senior Trucy Truong-Phan was conducting an experiment for her senior thesis, which examines the relationship between visual and olfactory elements in consumer perception. Also pictured: lab manager Gitta Selva and research assistant Andy Tejeda.

Members of the Yale community can sign up to participate in studies on the lab website
