When I first arrived at Yale SOM, I could never have predicted the incredible road that lay ahead. My passion for fostering inclusion and diversity, shaped by my own experiences as an underrepresented individual in higher education, quickly became my compass. It has guided my work as senior associate director of inclusion and diversity, a role that allowed me to leave a meaningful mark on this institution.

During my time here, I’ve had the privilege of working alongside dedicated students, staff, and faculty to build a more inclusive SOM. From developing a student service model that integrates diversity, equity, inclusion, and belonging (DEIB) into everyday campus life to partnering with student organizations on critical issues such as pronoun usage and community engagement, my focus has been on creating a space where all voices are heard, uplifted, and respected.

As I step into my new role as director of admissions for inclusion and diversity, I’m filled with both excitement and a deep sense of responsibility. This role offers me the opportunity to be the storyteller of the vibrant and diverse community that thrives within Evans Hall. My goal is simple yet profound: to effectively communicate the school’s multilayered DEIB strategy to a prospective student audience and to ensure that our commitment to belonging is evident in every aspect of the MBA admissions process. From your first interaction with our school to the moment you graduate, I want every experience to reflect the inclusive values that define Yale University.

I’m grateful to the SOM community for its unwavering support of this work. As we endeavor to attract and enroll future MBA classes, I’m eager to build new connections, hear your stories, and continue shaping a community where everyone can thrive. The road continues, and I can’t wait to see where it leads us next. Let’s connect and make this next chapter one of collaboration and growth!
