Behind the scenes: All afternoon, SOM staff worked to transform an Evans Hall concourse into a warm and welcoming Friendsgiving setting. The preparations involved a flurry of tablecloths, piles of decorations, and a lot of teamwork.
A tablescape of autumn leaves, candles, and corn created a rustic Thanksgiving vibe.
Students gathered, bringing excitement and conversation into the building as the evening officially began.
For many students, this was their first time experiencing a Thanksgiving meal—a chance to learn traditions and taste new dishes.
Students, both new and old, use Friendsgiving as an opportunity to share their gratitude for friendship, community, and the shared journey of school life.
As friends connected over the shared meal, stories of the semester and future aspirations filled the building. The laughter, the smiles, and the togetherness are exactly what Friendsgiving is all about.
SOM staff took a moment to relax, reflecting on the success of the event they brought to life.
Goodbyes and gratitude closed out the meal, marking a Friendsgiving to remember and cherish.
Last but not least, students watched their classmates practice for the annual Harvard Business School vs. Yale SOM hockey game, ending the night with energy and camaraderie!
