Alumni Elected to Congress in Rhode Island and Kentucky
Seth Magaziner ’10 was re-elected to the U.S. House of Representatives from Rhode Island and Brett Guthrie ’97 won his ninth term as U.S. representative from Kentucky.
Yale SOM alumni won congressional races in Rhode Island and Kentucky on November 5, according to tallies from the Associated Press.
Seth Magaziner ’10 was re-elected to the U.S. House of Representatives from Rhode Island with 58.1% of the vote. Magaziner, a Democrat, defeated Republican Steven Corvi to hold on to the congressional seat he first won in 2022.
Brett Guthrie ’97 was reelected to the U.S. House of Representatives from Kentucky. Guthrie, a Republican, won his ninth term in the seat with 73.1% of the vote, defeating Democrat Hank Linderman.
