Mission & Impact: Fatimah Dreier ’22 of the Health Alliance for Violence Intervention
Dreier, a 2022 winner of the Dean’s Mission & Impact Award, has served as executive director for the Health Alliance for Violence Intervention since 2019.
Fatimah Dreier ’22, an alum of the MBA for Executives program in the healthcare area of focus, is one of four members of the Class of 2022 to receive the Dean’s Mission & Impact Award, which recognizes students “whose efforts on behalf of the SOM community, New Haven, or society as a whole, extraordinarily exemplify the mission and associated values that are the defining feature" of SOM. In this video, Dreier discusses her work to reduce gun violence and how her time at SOM helped her hone the skills she needs to effectively advocate for change.
