Matt Chmura, a 2018 graduate of Yale SOM’s MBA for Executives program, is in his 13th season with the Bruins.  As vice president of marketing and communications he is responsible for the club’s overall communications and marketing functions and strategies while overseeing all media relations, website editorial, marketing, and community relations efforts.  A native of Taunton, Massachusetts, he began his sports career as an intern at the NFL, including the New England Patriots, and he spent two seasons as manager and then director of public relations with the MetroStars of Major League Soccer. He came to the Bruins following one season as vice president of communications and new media with Red Bull New York (MLS). He is a graduate of the College of the Holy Cross with a B.A. in political science and has served as a trustee for that institution and is also on the board of directors for the Boys & Girls Clubs of Taunton, Massachusettes, and the Bay State Games.  He is interviewed by Emily Kling ’21 and Amy Kundrat ’21.
