Yale SOM Welcomes New Faculty Members in 2018

Seven new faculty members, in operations management, economics, marketing, finance, and social entrepreneurship, join Yale SOM on July 1.
Nils Rudi, professor of operations management, was most recently a professor of technology and operations management and the Abu Dhabi Commercial Bank Chaired Professor in International Management at INSEAD.
Robert T. Jensen, professor of economics, will also serve as faculty director of the Program on Social Enterprise, succeeding Professor Sharon Oster, who has retired. Jensen comes to Yale from the Wharton School of Business at the University of Pennsylvania, where he was professor of business economics and public policy.
Barbara Biasi, assistant professor of economics, was most recently a postdoctoral fellow at the Industrial Relations Section at Princeton University.
Kevin Donovan, assistant professor of economics, was a visiting professor at Yale SOM in 2017-18, and was previously at the University of Notre Dame.
Soheil Ghili, assistant professor of marketing, was previously a post-doctoral fellow at Yale’s Cowles Foundation for Research in Economics.
Paul Goldsmith-Pinkham, assistant professor of finance, was a financial economist at the Federal Reserve Bank of New York.
Teresa Chahine is the first Sheila and Ron ’92 Marcelo Lecturer in Social Entrepreneurship. She was previously a research associate at Harvard’s T. C. Chan School of Public Health.
