SOMPost: March 2021 Networking Events, VConnectSOM, and more
Greetings from busy Yale School of Management!
While students are enjoying a virtual Global Network Week or a much needed break, recruiters and our office have been busy marketing job opportunities and planning ways to build those personal connections so vital to recruiting. Read on to see upcoming highlights, including new events in April and the launch of a new VConnectSOM opportunity. As always, reach out if we can support your recruiting efforts in any way – we are happy to help!
All the best!

Deputy Director, Employer Partnerships
Career Development Office
What’s Happened:
HireSOM was a success
Twenty eight employers connected with over 100 Yale students for an evening of conversation and networking that lasted well past the expected closing time! The energy was high with most employer reporting that they are following up with students after the event and look forward to joining future HireSOMs. Most students shared that they added new organizations to their target lists and would recommend HireSOM to fellow students.
Global Network Week has begun
Spring 1 term has closed and many students are enjoying a much needed academic break after exams, while others are participating in Global Network Week in conjunction with other business schools in the Global Network for Advanced Management. Classes resume in a hybrid model on Monday, March 22, with Spring 2 exams scheduled to end May 11 and Commencement scheduled for May 24.
