Julia DiBenigno, assistant professor of organizational behavior, has been named to Thinker50’s Radar Class of 2022, which recognizes 30 thinkers to watch in the coming year. Thinkers50, which collaborated with Deloitte on the Radar ranking, has identified, ranked, and shared leading management thinkers and ideas since 2001.

The honorees include academics, entrepreneurs, and authors. “The Radar Class of 2022 is an exceptional group of thinkers, whose ideas, hard work and passion we believe can make a real difference in the world,” the organization said. “They may not have all the answers, but they are asking important questions about the business world and the sort of society we want to live in.”

DiBenigno is an organizational ethnographer and field researcher. Her scholarship seeks to advance understanding of topics related to the sociology of work and occupations, collaboration between professional groups, upward influence and voice, and culture change in nonprofit and government organizations. Her research has appeared in Administrative Science Quarterly and the Academy of Management Annals and has won multiple best paper and best dissertation awards.
