Nooyi, a longtime advisor, supporter, and champion of Yale SOM, led the company for 12 years.

Apkon previously held positions as CEO of Toronto’s Hospital for Sick Children, chief medical officer for the Children’s Hospital of Philadelphia, and executive director of Yale New Haven Children’s Hospital.
