Video: Student Volunteers Help Afghan Refugees Build Sustainable Business

During a recent Food, Agribusiness, and Beverage Club event at Yale SOM, students offer local Afghan refugees a helping hand.

The student-run Food, Agribusiness, and Beverage Club recently hosted a taste-testing event featuring cuisine prepared by local women refugees from Aghanistan. The event was designed to help the women identify which dishes to include in a potential catering business. The club also provides coaching to the refugees on how to develop a sustainable business model.
