Tell us about your International Experience trip. Where did you go? What was your favorite part?

My international experience in Kenya was truly transformative. I had the opportunity to visit a diverse range of companies, from start-ups to tech giants, all making significant impacts within Nairobi, greater Kenya, and across Sub-Saharan Africa. One of the highlights of my trip was meeting with clients of the Kenyan Women Microfinance Bank in rural Kenya and hearing firsthand how access to loans and financial education had profoundly transformed their lives and those of their families. Hearing their stories firsthand was truly incredible. Following the formal portion of the trip, I went on a safari through Masai Mara with nine of my classmates. It was an unforgettable experience, filled with awe-inspiring moments, from observing prides of lions and cheetahs to encountering a tower of giraffes.
