The Class of 2027 is also academically accomplished, with 58% already holding advanced degrees in areas such as medicine, anthropology, law, computer science, public policy, architecture, and engineering.

Seventy percent of the class works in the for-profit sector, while 22% comes from the nonprofit sector, and 8% from government. Students work for employers including tech giants Amazon, Google, and IBM; financial services providers Morgan Stanley and Ernst & Young; educational institutions such as the Catholic Academy of Bridgeport and the Chicago Freedom School; and healthcare organizations Kaiser Permanente, Mobile Health Diagnostics, the New York City Department of Health and Mental Hygiene, and Yale New Haven Health.

During their first year in the program, students will take Yale SOM’s integrated core curriculum while participating in colloquia with accomplished visiting experts and leaders. In the second year, students will take advanced management courses and electives in leadership, business, economics, and other management disciplines, with the opportunity to specialize in asset management, healthcare, or sustainability.
