Diving into Digital Leadership at FGV São Paulo
Christopher Benavides ’24 shares photos from Global Network Week at FGV Escola de Administração de Empresas de São Paulo, where he took a module on digital leadership.
I recently had the incredible opportunity to attend an intensive course on digital leadership at FGV Escola de Administração de Empresas de São Paulo, as part of Global Network Week. Led by Professor Benjamin Rosenthal and supported by other esteemed professors like Leandro Guissoni, the week allowed us to thoroughly explore the nuances of becoming digital leaders, with a specific emphasis on Brazil. This course not only facilitated networking opportunities, but it also fostered knowledge sharing among accomplished professionals from top business schools around the world. The program’s comprehensive curriculum was evident in the skillful integration of informative lectures and hands-on experiences, such as the visit to Natura, which seamlessly complemented each other.
I was joined in the program by 13 other students from schools in the Global Network for Advanced Management including the University of California’s Berkeley Haas, EGADE Business School at Tecnológico de Monterrey, and others.
The accompanying photos offer a glimpse into our enlightening visit to Natura’s headquarters and manufacturing facility in Cajamar, São Paulo. This hands-on experience allowed us to dive deep into the intricacies of one of world’s top cosmetics, hygiene, and beauty giants, witnessing firsthand their comprehensive approach from administration and product development to manufacturing, packaging, and distribution.
I am grateful to the Yale School of Management for providing this invaluable opportunity to enhance my educational experience!
