A Timeline for Applying to the MAM Program
The Admissions team proposes a to-do list for applicants.
With summer coming to a close, our office is getting particularly busy. This time of year, questions start coming in about the application timeline and what to expect for the 2022-2023 application. We are thrilled that you’re being proactive about getting your application together, and we’d like to shed some light on what the ideal timing may be for starting, working on, and submitting your application.
August to September: If you have not yet decided whether you plan to apply this year, now is a great time to continue your research or connect with the admissions team. We have helpful webinars to watch and fantastic Admissions Ambassadors to speak with (soon to be updated with the Class of 2023 students!).
September: Our application opens on September 21, 2022! Whether you plan to apply in Round 1, 2, or 3, you can open an application in September. Get familiar with what the application looks like—read our essay prompts, look through the questions that we ask, take note of the different sections and how long they may take to complete. You can also find a list of application requirements on our website. If you have not done so already, start thinking about requirements that will take extended planning. For example, asking a reference to write you a letter of recommendation and having them write it will take more time than uploading an unofficial transcript. The GMAT or GRE is another important requirement to plan in advance. Schedule a date to take one of these tests with enough time to send us your scores.
January: Our Round 1 deadline is January 5 (note that Round 1 is reserved for Global Network for Advanced Management students). If you are applying in Round 1, by the start of the month you are likely reviewing your completed or almost-completed application. If your references have not submitted their letters yet, now is a good time to remind them.
February and beyond: Our Round 2 and Round 3 deadlines are February 22 and April 11, respectively. We are excited to open these rounds to MBA students outside of the Global Network. Our advice remains the same as above, but as this program may be new to you, we would love to hear from you and answer any questions that you have. Our team is ready to get to know you, so do not hesitate to reach out.
We hope this information helps illuminate the application timeline. Some of this may sound overwhelming, but our team is here to help every step of the way. If you plan ahead, you will find that you have plenty of time to submit your strongest application possible.
