The Master of Advanced Management (MAM) program is designed for students who have completed or are working towards an MBA. The program deepens leadership capabilities, broadens global perspectives, and strengthens commitment to societal impact. MAM students design their own academic experience, selecting electives within business to deepen specialized skills, and exploring courses across Yale University in areas such as law, global affairs, and public health. Through this interdisciplinary approach, students develop the insights to navigate the intersection of business and society, addressing challenges in social impact, ethical leadership, global risks and trends.

Apply now to join Yale SOM's MAM program. Candidates can apply before, during or after their MBA program.
Prior
SOM partners with select schools to allow students to apply to both an MBA program at a partner school and the MAM program simultaneously. Simply apply to the MBA program and indicate your interest in the MAM. We coordinate with the MBA school to review your application at the same time, so you’ll receive admission decisions for both programs within in the same cycle and gain a clear view of your next two-year academic plan from the start.
During
Once you’ve started your MBA, you can apply to the MAM directly through our website. Through our partnerships with select MBA schools, credits earned in the MAM may transfer towards your MBA degree, allowing you to complete both programs within a shorter amount of time than it would take for you to complete them separately. If your MBA program will be completed before the MAM program begins, you may also apply during your MBA program and receive an offer pending MBA completion.
After
Apply to the MAM program after completing your MBA at any top global business school. While there is no specific time limit for applying, we recommend doing so soon after your MBA to best leverage and build upon your recent knowledge and experience through the MAM program.
