The Master of Management Studies in Global Business and Society (GBS) provides you with tools needed to thrive in global organizations and the broad perspective to know how best to use them. Open to students in master in management programs at top business schools around the world, including those in the Global Network for Advanced Management, the GBS program draws on all the resources at Yale University.
During your year at Yale, you’ll take advanced coursework at the nexus of global business and society, building upon the foundation of your master’s in management.
Spend a year on the campus of a great university, connecting with peers from around the world and forming relationships that will benefit you for the rest of your life.
Admissions
Admission to the GBS program is open to students who either are enrolled or have recently graduated from a top business school from around the world, including those in the Global Network for Advanced Management, with a master in management (or equivalent) degree.
There are two ways to enter the GBS program.
- For HEC, HKUST, and UBC Sauder master in management applicants: Apply jointly through the M2M programs. Deadlines vary by school.
- Apply while you are enrolled in, during a gap year, or after completing your master in management program.

I was intrigued by the interdisciplinary nature of the GBS degree: half of our credits come from the School of Management, and the other half come from anywhere at Yale. We can further our business acumen, dive further into our field of interest, and also explore a new area.
