Tell us about your International Experience trip. Where did you go? What was your favorite part?

My International Experience trip to Uruguay with Yale SOM was truly incredible. Led by Professor Caliendo and Matias Cancela '22, this was more than just a class; it was a transformative journey. Learning about international business hands-on through numerous visits to some of South America's leading companies was invaluable. Beyond the company visits, it was a pleasure to fully immerse myself in Uruguayan culture. From enjoying tango performances and sampling traditional cuisine to exploring the stunning coastal regions, there was never a dull moment. This course also helped me forge new SOM connections that I will carry with me long after my time in New Haven.
