What is your advice for a prospective SOMer?
My advice is to really spend some time thinking about what it is that you want to get out of the program before you arrive on campus. These two years fly by and there are so many incredible opportunities but it can leave you pulled in many different directions. Doing some early reflection identifying your priorities can really help you focus your efforts and be intentional about how you spend your time. That being said the MBA is a wonderful opportunity to explore a variety of interests! The School of Management in particular is very well connected to the broader Yale ecosystem which provides ample opportunities to explore interests spanning a variety of fields, from law to environmental management, art to public health, there are endless resources available for you to pursue your interests!
