Tell us about your International Experience trip. Where did you go? What was your favorite part?
I went to Japan in my first year for my International Experience (IE) trip. I loved learning about Japanese culture and seeing it through the lens of our amazing visiting professor Yoshi Fujikawa. One of the most memorable moments was walking through the history of Hosoo, a Kyoto-based company with over 300 years of tradition in textile craftsmanship. And of course, Japan is full of surprises. I loved how just walking down the street, you could stumble upon the most random and interesting things, like cherry blossom infused honey.
