What was your favorite memory from your first year?

My favorite part about my first year has to be being involved in Hockey Club. My friend convinced me to join with her after only knowing her for two weeks and I can honestly say it was the best decision ever. Hockey club is open to anyone and taught us everything from how to get dressed, to how to skat, shoot and score. Wednesdays have been my favourite part of the week because I know I will always have a break, go to hockey and hang out with my friends.We watched our team play Harvard and I have never cheered as much as I did during that game. During the first year vs second year game I remember looking back at all of my classmates who were cheering for us and feeling so happy, grateful and loved that I almost teared up, we lost the game but I was so happy anyways. Through the hockey club I have met some of my favourite people at SOM in both first and second year and I'm very excited to continue to be a part of it next year.
