What was your favorite memory from your first year?
I traveled to Japan through the International Experience program, visiting Tokyo, Kyoto, and Osaka. We met with business leaders in industries like retail, energy, and tech, which gave me a great perspective on how business is done in Japan. One of the highlights was visiting the Tokyo Stock Exchange—we got to learn how they’re working to improve corporate governance and create long-term value for shareholders. Outside of the business visits, I loved exploring cultural sites like Fushimi Inari Shrine and Osaka Castle, riding a Bullet Train, and even catching a baseball game at the Tokyo Dome!
