Tell us about your International Experience trip. Where did you go? What was your favorite part?
This past spring, I participated in the Global Social Entrepreneurship course taught by Tony Sheldon, where I worked with a Brazil-based impact investing fund. During spring break, I traveled to Sao Paolo for a week of in-person collaboration with the organization. My favorite experience was seeing how my interdisciplinary project team, comprised of students from SOM and the Yale School of the Environment, combined classroom knowledge, consulting frameworks, and entrepreneurial thinking to support a mission-driven social enterprise. It was especially rewarding to engage with the SOM alumni network in conducting project research and witness the tangible impact of our work on the ground.
