What surprised you the most about being an MBA student?
As an MBA student, I've been amazed by the diversity of topics, ideas, and activities I've encountered during my first year. From attending talks and dinners with inspiring alumni to engaging in hands-on projects, every experience has been enriching. I've had the privilege of learning from a variety of leaders, including an entrepreneur managing a 600-employee company in the Dominican Republic, the founder of a successful non-alcoholic beer brand, and the CMO of a professional women's sports league. These interactions have provided invaluable insights into leadership, innovation, and problem-solving. Outside the classroom, I've worked alongside classmates to support operational improvements at a local art nonprofit, signed up for a Brooklyn half marathon with classmates, and even discovered my favorite pizza spot in town. Reflecting on the past eight months, I'm struck by how much I've grown personally and professionally. It's exciting to think about what lies ahead, and I can't wait to see what the future holds.
