Tell us about your International Experience trip. Where did you go? What was your favorite part?
I was lucky enough to go to Japan for my International Experience (IE). It was my first time in Asia, and it was amazing. The food and culture were incredible. We were lucky enough to have Professor Fujikawa from Hitotsubashi ICS (who is a partner instructor at SOM during Spring semester) co-lead our trip which gave the programming a personalized touch. We visited with incredible people from over 10 different firms and different industries, ranging from start-ups in renewable energies to a Fortune 500 tech company. My favorite experience was everything I ate and watching a Nippon Professional Baseball (NPB) game at the Tokyo Dome!
