Photos: Students Gather for Annual Internship Fund Auction
The Class of 2023 Internship Fund Auction, held in person for the first time in three years, raised more than $44,000 to support students who pursue summer internships in the nonprofit and public sectors.
The Internship Fund’s annual auction returned in person this year for the first time since 2019. More than 260 students attended the gala event at the Omni Hotel in New Haven, collectively donating more than $44,000 to the Internship Fund. They bid on items including bar crawls and karaoke nights with faculty, tickets to the Yale CEO Summit, a dinner with the deans, a boating day with alumni, and many more experiences contributed by SOM faculty, staff, students, and alumni.
The Internship Fund has been a defining part of the Yale SOM community for 43 years, designed to support SOM students completing summer internships in the nonprofit and public sectors.
