What was your favorite memory from your first year?
My favorite memory from my first year was navigating the recruiting process. As someone new to the US, it felt quite daunting at first. However, I was genuinely impressed by the incredible support from second years and Yale alumni. Though the process was intense and fast-paced, it significantly broadened my horizons, rapidly built up my skills, and gave me tremendous growth and confidence.
What made this memory especially special was the friends I made along the way. Going through the same challenges together, we supported each other deeply and built strong camaraderie. Even after the internship, many of them remain my closest friends. To me, these friendships are the greatest gift I gained from recruiting.
