Tell us about your International Experience trip. Where did you go? What was your favorite part?
For my International Experience, I traveled to Bhutan, where I was met with expansive natural beauty and a sense of stillness. As part of our IE, we hiked the iconic Tiger’s Nest trail -- a four-mile round trip with a steep elevation gain. While it was physically demanding, it was also incredibly rewarding with sweeping views that made it all worthwhile. One of the most memorable moments of the trip was participating in sunrise yoga at one of the world’s largest seated Buddha statues. The moment felt surreal -- we were surrounded by mountains, trees, and drifting fog, while the sun rose behind us. It was a quiet, grounding experience that captured Bhutan's unique balance of natural beauty and spiritual presence.
