What was your favorite memory from your first year?
My favorite memory from my first year was during Fall 1, when we were all adjusting to being students again. After more than seven years in the workforce, I had forgotten what it felt like to be back in school.
Within the first two weeks, we had our first economics homework due, and a lot of us were confused. I leaned on the Consortium community, and more than 15 of us packed into a small breakout room to work through the problems together. We took turns explaining concepts, helping one another, and making sure everyone could keep up.
That moment was my first real introduction to the Yale SOM community.
