Tell us about your International Experience trip. Where did you go? What was your favorite part?
My International Experience trip was to Norway, and it has been the highlight of my time at SOM so far. A group of friends and I extended the trip before the program officially began, traveling to Tromso, to see the Northern Lights, go dogsledding, and take a fjord cruise. Once the IE started, some of my favorite experiences were visiting the Nobel Peace Center and Norges Bank, as well as hearing from Tom Erik Heimen, the renowned Norwegian wingsuit BASE jumper known as the "Original Daredevil." After the program ended, we continued on to Iceland, where we explored the southern coast and the Golden Circle. Overall, the trip was an incredible mix of adventure, learning, and time with friends, which made it especially memorable.
