Tell us about your International Experience trip. Where did you go? What was your favorite part?

The thing that surprised me most was how genuine the "business and society" mission actually is. It is the throughline that connects us all regardless of everyone's personal career trajectory. What I've found at SOM is a community where people are genuinely motivated by impact, and important and vulnerable conversations happen naturally, in and out of the classroom. My peers are building careers across clean energy, public policy, healthcare, social enterprise, and even in traditional consulting and IB paths, but in every sector we push each other to think bigger about what business can do. I always felt a strong pull to Yale SOM because of it's environmental ties, but it has been really incredible to see how the "and society" piece of the MBA degree is represented in unique ways across our community.
