What was your favorite memory from your first year?
My favorite memory from my first year was hosting my first Korean taco night for about 15 of my friends. At the time, I didn’t know everyone that well, so I wasn’t sure how it would go, but everyone showed up. I even went into NYC to pick up some ingredients I couldn’t find in New Haven, which made it feel extra intentional. It ended up being one of the first moments where I really felt how special the Yale community is. I felt really cared for, and it was also a moment where I got to show that same care back to my friends.
