Tell us about your International Experience trip. Where did you go? What was your favorite part?
I had the chance to travel to China, and it was an incredible experience. It was my first time there, and I spent about ten days between Beijing and Shanghai. The coolest part was the unparalleled access we had thanks to Yale: we visited the headquarters of some of China's largest investment firms as well as manufacturing powerhouses, all through private tours and small-group presentations, along with robotics companies and other high-tech firms. I had read about China's manufacturing and software capabilities, but being there in person changed my perspective and reshaped my learning objectives for my second year on campus.
