What surprised you the most about being an MBA student?
Coming from a non-traditional background and going into a non-traditional sector, I was very concerned that I would struggle to fit in with highly ambitious and competitive stereotypical MBA students. I was pleasantly surprised by how supportive the SOM community has been and how much I've fit in with the people here. People at SOM come from dozens of sectors and have goals in dozens more, and this diversity helps make the school a special, interesting, and exciting place to learn!
