Tell us about your International Experience trip. Where did you go? What was your favorite part?
I had the chance to travel to Ireland for my International Experience (IE), which lined up perfectly with St. Patrick's Day. Throughout the trip, we moved across the country - spending time in Dublin, Tipperary, Kilkenny, and Cork - which gave us a great feel for both the cities and the countryside. A major highlight was visiting companies like Diageo, the parent company of Guinness, and Coolmore Stud, known for producing elite racehorses like the ones you see at the Kentucky Derby. The IE is my favorite experience at SOM so far, and it's something I'd highly recommend that future students take advantage of.
