What is your advice for a prospective SOMer?
My advice for a prospective SOMer is to take advantage of all the resources and opportunities that exist *outside* SOM across Yale. Our program is unique because we have nearly unlimited access to one of the greatest universities in the world, and there is so much to learn from students, classes, and extracurricular opportunities outside SOM. Two of my favorite experiences this year were working on case competitions with students from the School of the Environment and the Jackson School of Public Policy. Whatever your passions, hobbies, or casual interests, Yale has someone teaching it, studying it, or building on it.
