A New Application Structure and Other Updates from the GBS Program

The GBS application, which will open in September, includes four deadlines for prospective members of the Class of 2027.

We’re excited to share that the application for the Yale SOM Master’s in Global Business & Society (GBS) Class of 2027 officially opens on September 16, 2025.

This year, we’re launching a new four-round application process, designed to provide greater flexibility and more time to prepare before moving to New Haven in mid-August. That means you now have four distinct opportunities to submit your MAM application on a timeline that works well for you. Here’s what our application structure looks like now:

  • Round 1: This round is reserved exclusively for students or alumni of MIM programs at schools in the Global Network for Advanced Management (GNAM). This early round gives GNAM students a unique opportunity to apply early and receive an expedited admissions decision.
  • Rounds 2, 3, and 4: These rounds are open to prospective students who are alumni or currently enrolled in MBA programs around the world, including GNAM schools. Whether you're early in your research or finalizing your plans, you now have more flexibility to apply when you feel ready to submit your application. You can view the updated deadlines here.

All rounds are treated equally. There’s no advantage to applying early or late—the best time to apply is when your application is at its strongest.
