What is Asset Management?
Put simply, asset management is the practice of increasing wealth over time through the buying, selling and trading of assets. Professionals in the asset management space provide this service for others, balancing risk and reward through a variety of strategies, while working with their clients to provide the most favorable outcome. Asset management clients include high-net-worth individuals, government entities, corporations and institutional investors such as colleges or pension funds.
