We don’t just help Master’s in Asset Management students find a job. We help them launch their career.
Our specialized approach to recruitment makes us different
We work differently than other career development offices. Our Master’s in Asset Management students want a broad variety of employment outcomes, so we tailor the search to each individual student, rather than employing a “plug and play” approach.
The Yale SOM Career Development Office (CDO) works hard to foster strong relationships with employers in the asset management sector, and we show you how to leverage these relationships and pursue opportunities that fit your interests. We are extremely hands-on, providing the tools and resources to navigate today’s recruitment process. We recognize that this may be your first attempt to secure full-time employment, but it won’t be your last. The recruitment skillset we teach will serve you throughout your career, not just while you are a student at Yale.
Recruiting in a nine-month program
Unlike more generalized degree programs that remove students from job market for two years, we work within a nine-month timeframe to get you the right job, not just a job.
Our nine-month program is an asset, setting you apart from the many other job applicants working within a “traditional” recruitment timeline and enabling you to secure a position tailored to your interests. Hiring practices within the asset management industry are unique and individualized, and we are confident that our program length and structure prepares our students for recruitment success—our results speak for themselves!
