Discover how you belong at Yale. Join us in New Haven to get a glimpse into our supportive and welcoming environment and connect with current students and members of Women in Management. You’ll hear from the Office of Inclusion and Diversity as well as Yale faculty, meet our Admissions team, and much more. Attendees will receive an MBA application fee waiver to apply to Yale SOM for Fall 2025 and offered a hotel room for the evening of Thursday, September 26. The application to Belonging Days: Women's Perspectives is due no later than Friday, September 6. We will begin making decisions in August and will notify applicants of our decisions on a rolling basis. Who should attend Belonging Days?
Prospective students from all genders and backgrounds who are interested in applying to the full-time MBA program within the next two years are encouraged to apply.
Information provided in your application or registration to attend Belonging Days will not be part of your application for admission to SOM.
Is it possible to attend both events?
You may apply to and be selected for both events, but you may only attend one. We do this to maximize the number of participants across the events.
What documents do I need to submit for the application?
In addition to basic demographic information, a resume and short-answer essay are required:

The resume you submit does not have to be the same resume you submit with your application. The current professional resume you use will suffice.

Attendees will receive an application fee waiver to apply to Yale SOM for Fall 2025 enrollment.
Where should I stay in New Haven?
Attendees selected to participate will be offered one night hotel accommodation with another attendee for Thursday, September 26th (Belonging Days: Women’s Perspectives) or Thursday, October 3rd (Belonging Days: Diverse Perspectives).
How much does it cost to attend?
There is no fee to participate in Belonging Days. Meals and accommodation (in shared rooms) will be provided by Yale SOM. Participants will be responsible for their own transportation to New Haven. Note that the hotel will require a credit card from all guests upon check-in for incidentals (parking, room service, etc.) not covered by SOM. Please bring a form of payment for any purchases or incidentals that are not covered.
Can I bring my partner?
Due to space limitations, partners are unfortunately unable to attend. If you wish to visit with a partner, consider signing up for one of our Campus Visits. You may also be interested in connecting with one of our Student Ambassadors involved in the Partners Club.
