Tell us about your International Experience trip. Where did you go? What was your favorite experience?
I traveled to Bhutan for a very unique IE course that focused on evaluating the use of Gross National Happiness (rather than GDP) as a measure of development. We visited centuries-old farmhouses, temples perched on cliffs 3,000m above sea level, and drove on the same ethereal highways depicted in "Lunana: A Yak in the Classroom." But although the natural landscapes were incredible, I most enjoyed the opportunity to converse with government officials, monks, traditional dancers, and our tireless local guides.
