Fun & Connection in DC | Black Business Alliance Alumni Group

Saturday, Sep 14 2024 at 6:30 - 8:30 pm EDT

664 Maine Ave SW, Washington, DC 20024, USA

Join the Black Business Alliance Alumni Affinity Group in Washington, DC this September!

On Saturday, September 14th, the Black Business Alliance Alumni Group has planned an enriching day of fun and connection. The day begins with the option to join the group at the National Museum of African American History & Culture, followed by a social hour with fellow alumni and guests serving complimentary beer, wine and hors d’oeuvres at the Makers Union on the Wharf. Following the social hour, join your new acquaintances and old friends for an evening of bar hopping along the infamous DC Wharf.

We encourage those who live out of town to join us as we have specifically aligned this event to coincide with two prominent conferences: the Congressional Black Caucus’s 53rd Annual Legislative Conference (September 11th – 15th) which is the leading public policy conference focused on impacting Black communities; and the 46th Annual National Black MBA Conference (September 17th – 21st) which is a professional development and networking conference for Black professionals hosted in various cities across the nation and will return to DC for the first time since 2008. For those looking for new opportunities, companies will be interviewing and making offers on-site.

Bring a guest and immerse yourself in this unique opportunity to connect with Yale SOM peers, while having the opportunity to engage in two powerful conferences tailored to the Black community.
